We're back and birthday-er' than ever! Ryan celebrated turning 30 here in New York with his wonderful Grandma and Uncle Phil! The sky above showed us how happy it was to have him back in the land of his birth by weeping with joy... all day... all over us... it was awesome!

After a lovely breakfast we got a tour of Grandma's farm, complete with horses goats and chickens not to mention a tiny frog we caught. I personally adored the horses the most and was trying very hard to boop them on the nose with my nose, which was somewhat successful. We then popped down the road to visit the gorgeous Lake Ontario which was so vast and far reaching I thought I was looking out over the ocean. It got me thinking of how far we have already come. Driving over 2000 miles from home is certainly a long way but it's just the beginning, we still have real oceans to cross and whole other countries to see. I'm so grateful to be a tiny part of this massive world. It is amazing to me that there are arms and hearts outstretched to us along our journey, I'm glad we have been brave enough to reach back. To Ryan happy birthday, thanks for holding my hand!
